Nurturing the Feminine

A day of sensuality, movement and connection between women

There is a part of my work that begins with a longing to make space for women to meet without needing to hold everything together.

A space to move, feel, play and receive attention. To offer something to another woman and notice what happens when that care is welcomed.

Nurturing the Feminine brings together movement, meditation, shared ritual and consensual touch. It is a sensual gathering rather than a Shibari technique course.

The invitation

You may long for connection with other women, more freedom in your expression or time in which your body is not another project to manage.

I invite you into a day of slowing down, moving, witnessing and exploring what feels alive in you.

There is room for tenderness, playfulness, quietness and the parts of you still finding their expression. You do not have to perform a particular idea of femininity to belong.

What we explore

The day brings together practices influenced by tantra, meditation and somatic work.

We move between dancing and stillness, witnessing and reflection, giving and receiving touch, and the experience of holding or being held.

I guide the invitations and explain the agreements. You choose how you participate, including when to pause or observe.

Sensuality and erotic energy

The focus is the pleasure of movement, attention, expression and contact that is genuinely welcome.

Erotic energy may be part of that experience. This is not a sex party, and attending does not create permission for sexual contact.

We keep the agreements around each practice clear. Your participation can change as you discover what feels right for you.

What I mean by a temple

I use the word temple for a place of deliberate attention and shared ritual.

A ritual can help us arrive, acknowledge an experience and make time for it to settle. Its meaning comes through participation, not through producing a particular spiritual feeling.

Sensual Institute, a centre for sensuality education in Stockholm, explores this relationship between ritual, the body and shared meaning. It is a useful way to understand why a simple gesture can matter when we give it our attention.
